What is in a Housekeeping job description?

A Housekeeper is an efficient and skilled individual who specialises in cleaning and tidying rooms. They will dust and polish surfaces and mirrors, strip and remake beds, hoover and mop and restock toiletries. Alongside this, they will occasionally handle guest requests for more sheets, towels, pillows and other items.

Essential parts of a Housekeeper’s job description:

Housekeepers will often work in small groups, dividing areas between themselves and ensuring each room that needs to be cleaned is covered.
They will spend long periods working individually, attending to cleaning duties and ensuring toiletries and other items are well stocked.
