What is in a Bartender’s job description?

A Bartender is an excellent people person. They’re known for being able to whip up a range of cocktails, pour the perfect pint of beer and serve up excellent wine selections. However, this isn’t all a Bartender does. They’re also excellent at cleaning, and help to keep the bar area neat and tidy.

Essential parts of a Bartender’s job description:

Bartenders are excellent communicators and will be able to make customers feel welcome in the bar. They’ll be able to recommend drinks
They will have memorised a series of cocktails and mocktail recipes, and be able to prepare these at an efficient speed without impacting quality.
Depending on the business, Bartenders may also have the freedom to advise and create new recipes.
Bartenders will usually work in hotels, bars, clubs and similar establishments.
